Z-Ro is a rapper, singer, producer, and songwriter from Houston, TX. He started his career in 1996 and is most recognized for his affiliation with Houston's notorious Screwed Up Click. Z-Ro has released over 25 albums, many of which were released on his own label, Rap-A-Lot Records. He is known for his hardcore southern hip-hop style, which features gruff vocals, rhymes about street life, and tales of struggle. Z-Ro has collaborated and produced songs with many notable artists such as T.I., Bun B., and Scarface, as well as many more. His discography features gold certifications and variety of awards, including an Ozone Award for Best Down South Rap Album for his 2008 release titled Crack. He is highly respected in the rap community and continues to make music.
