About The Sleeping Beauty
The Sleeping Beauty is an alternative music project based in California, USA. The music is heavily influenced by 80s New Wave and Electronic sounds. The project started in 2012 and has since released two full-length studio albums and various singles and EPs.
The Sleeping Beauty's most popular single is "Feel So Low" which quickly gained attention after its release. The music video for it has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times on YouTube.
The project regularly tours the West Coast of the United States in support of their albums and singles. They have also done successful European tours in the past.
The project is well known for their energetic live performances and dark dreamlike soundscapes. Most of their songs feature shoegaze and post-punk inspired guitar lines, atmospheric synthesizers, as well as a combination of male and female vocals.
