Gabby Barrett is an American country music singer-songwriter from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She rose to mainstream fame after appearing on the sixteenth season of American Idol in 2018. Her debut single "I Hope" vaulted to the top of the Country Airplay chart and reached number three on the Billboard Hot Country songs chart, making her the first artist to achieve a Top Ten with their debut single since Cole Swindell in 2013. Following the success of "I Hope", she released her debut studio album, Goldmine, which debuted at No. 3 on the US Top Country Albums chart. Her follow up single, "The Good Ones" was officially certified Gold. Barrett is currently signed to Warner Music Nashville and is working on her second studio album.
