Jan Blomqvist is a German electronic music artist based in Berlin. He is part of the Berlin-based music collective Apparatjik. Blomqvist's solo debut EP "The Space in Between" came out in 2009 on the Winding Road Records, and he released his full-length debut album titled Stories Over in 2014. After releasing six EPs over the course of the past decade, he earned awards such as a Beatport Music Award for his single "The Space In Between". In 2016, Blomqvist released the full-length album "Remote Control". He has performed live for audiences with his band at events such as SXSW, Lollapalooza, Melt!, MS Dockville, as well as Germany´s Sziget Festival. He has also remixed tracks for some of the music industry's biggest acts, such as Capital Cities, Annemarie Eilfeld, and Parov Stelar.
