Token is an American hip-hop artist and songwriter from Massachusetts. After gaining some local fame, Token released his debut album, Between Somewhere, in 2018. His follow-up, Eraser Shavings, was released in 2019 and featured contributions from artists such as J. Cole, Cozz, and MadeinTYO. Token's subsequent full-length projects, The Quotable Token and The Token Show were released to critical acclaim in 2020 and 2021, respectively. His legacy has been solidified by his chart-topping single "Lights" as well as his songwriting credits on records like Ski Mask The Slump God's "Take a Step Back" and Mac Miller's "The Question." Token continues to tour and collaborate with other artists, releasing music frequently. He is recognized for his lyrical prowess and for pushing boundaries within hip-hop.
