Tim Kasher is an American musician who is best known as the lead singer and main songwriter of the alternative rock bands Cursive and The Good Life. He's released numerous solo albums as well, which feature an impressive range of music styles. Kasher is a passionate vocalist and lyricist, known for writing melancholy, sometimes dark, songs that touch on topics like personal relationships, addiction, philosophy, and more. His voice and lyrics often attract a cult-like following of devoted fans, with many referring to him as a "songwriter’s songwriter." Kasher has also appeared on many other albums besides his own, lending vocals and guitar as well. Aside from his music, Kasher has also been involved in the film world, writing and directing a feature film called No Resolution and a documentary entitled The Amusement Park.
