Allah-las are a psychedelia-style indie rock band led by singer Miles Michaud and based in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 2008, they have released five albums to critical acclaim: 2012’s self-titled Allah-Las, 2014’s Worship the Sun, 2016’s Calico Review, 2019’s LAHS, and their most recent, 2021’s Sundown Over Ghost Town. Their sound is a mix of ‘60s garage rock, ‘70s psychedelia, and ‘80s surf rock compiled with heavy reverb-laden guitar riffs and crooning vocals. The band has toured extensively, with appearances at famous festivals such as Coachella and Primavera. They hold a proud place in the current resurgence of American psych-rock being lyrically introspective while sonically expansive. Allah-las continue to tour and release new music to old fans and new ones alike.
