BLK. is a R&B/hip-hop artist from Chicago, Illinois. He released his debut album in 2015 called "LeBeast" and has since released three additional studio albums. His style has been described as a mix between classic R&B and new wave hip-hop with a unique lyrical dexterity that creates an overall soulful sound. He often collaborates with other Chicago artists such as fellow artist Noname. In 2017, he was nominated for a Grammy award for Best Rap Album for his project "Vanity". He is also well-known for his soulful live performances and has played at numerous festivals and events such as the Pitchfork Music Festival and A3C.
