Bobby V., formerly known as Bobby Valentino, is a hip hop and R&B artist from Mississippi. He signed with the Def Jam label in 2005 and released his self-titled debut album in the same year. He achieved international success with his hit single ‘Slow Down’, which hit number 1 on the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks chart. In 2006, his second album, Special Occasion, was released and spawned the hit ‘Anonymous’. Bobby V. has continued to steadily release quality music over the course of his career, releasing six overall albums and frequently appearing on singles and guest spots with many big names in hip hop and R&B. He has also been featured on songs with Plies, Twista, LL Cool J and Flo Rida, among others.
