About Emerson Lake and Palmer
Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP) was a progressive rock supergroup formed in London in 1970, consisting of Keith Emerson on keyboards, Greg Lake on bass and vocals, and Carl Palmer on drums. Known for their virtuosic musicianship and elaborate live performances, the band became one of the most successful and influential acts of the 1970s. ELP's music blended elements of classical, jazz, and rock, producing iconic albums such as "Tarkus," "Brain Salad Surgery," and "Pictures at an Exhibition." Despite disbanding in 1979, they reunited several times over the years, leaving a lasting legacy in the world of rock music.
