Hayseed Dixie is an American country rock band from Cumberland, Maryland. Formed in 2000, their music is an eclectic blend of original songs, classic rock, bluegrass, honky-tonk, and other styles. Their biggest hit to date is a cover of AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long", from the album A Hillbilly Tribute to AC/DC. The band has released 13 studio albums and have played over 1000 live shows, and have appeared on TV and radio shows all over the world, including Late Show with David Letterman and NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts. They have headlined festivals from Austin to Europe, and have performed with countless major acts. Hayseed Dixie has cultivated a wide and international fan base, and have been the impetus for a sub-genre of "Rockgrass" music.
