Jimmie Vaughan is an American blues-rock guitarist, artist, and songwriter known for his solo work and for leading The Fabulous Thunderbirds. With a career spanning more than four decades, he has become an influential figure in the blues and blues-rock genres. Vaughan's skillful guitar work has made him a sought-after collaborator, having worked with artists like Eric Clapton and Willie Nelson, among others, and helped him become a member of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
