About ØTTA

ØTTA avatar

ØTTA is the musical brainchild of Norwegian composer and multi-instrumentalist Arne Kjelsrud Mathisen. Hailing from the remote streets of Trondheim, Norway, ØTTA combines a serene Arctic sound with multi-instrumental prowess. Since their inception in 2014, the band has toured a variety of European festivals, their music featured in film and tv placements. In 2017 they released their debut album "Solstice", ushering a new wave of Norwegian optimism to the world through dreamy melodies and lightly spoken lyrics. The album was warmly received across the pond, amassing millions of plays and undergoing multiple remixes. ØTTA's follow-up LP "An Open Heart" was released in 2019 to an even larger response, propelling the band to the top of the Norwegian music charts and pushing their music further than ever before.
