Stevie B is an American freestyle singer who rose to fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He is best known for his Grammy-nominated single "Because I Love You (The Postman Song)" from his debut album, Party Your Body. Released in 1988, the song reached the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100, Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, and Cash Box Top 100 Chart; staying there for three consecutive weeks.

Aside from "Because I Love You," Stevie B has released other major Billboard hits, such as "I Wanna Be the One," "Dreamin' of Love," and "Spring Love (Come Back to Me)." In the peak of his career, he won the Billboard Music Award for Hot Dance Single of the Year in 1990.

Since the '90s, Stevie B has still continued to make music; releasing 17 albums to date, the most recent one being "Beautiful"
