Country music icon Dolly Parton has announced the postponement of her upcoming Las Vegas residency due to health concerns. The 79-year-old singer was scheduled to perform six concerts in December 2025 as part of her "Dolly: Live in Las Vegas" series. However, she has rescheduled these performances to September 2026 to address her health issues.

In a statement shared on Instagram, Parton explained, "I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts. As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures." She humorously added, "As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it's not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!" (abc30.com)

Parton emphasized her commitment to delivering high-quality performances, stating, "You pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you." She reassured fans that she has no plans to retire, noting, "Don't worry about me quittin' the business because God hasn't said anything about stopping yet. But, I believe He is telling me to slow down right now so I can be ready for more big adventures with all of you."

This postponement follows a recent health scare in September 2025, when Parton canceled an appearance at Dollywood due to a kidney stone and subsequent infection. She addressed fans via a pre-recorded video, saying, "I had a little problem. I had a kidney stone. Turns out there was an infection." (thedailybeast.com)

Fans have expressed understanding and support for Parton's decision, prioritizing her health and well-being. Ticket holders for the original December dates will be offered options for refunds or rescheduling. Parton remains optimistic about her recovery and looks forward to returning to the stage in 2026.
