Metallica Extends M72 World Tour with 2027 North American Stadium Dates

Metallica has announced an extension of their M72 World Tour into 2027, adding 12 North American stadium dates. The tour will commence on May 8, 2027, at BC Place in Vancouver and conclude on June 19, 2027, at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. This leg of the tour will feature support from Limp Bizkit and Avatar.

The newly scheduled dates are as follows:

  • May 8: Vancouver, BC – BC Place
  • May 13: San Diego, CA – Snapdragon Stadium
  • May 18: El Paso, TX – Sun Bowl Stadium
  • May 22: San Antonio, TX – Alamodome
  • May 26: Fayetteville, AR – Razorback Stadium
  • May 29: Kansas City, MO – Arrowhead Stadium
  • June 2: Raleigh, NC – Carter-Finley Stadium
  • June 5: Indianapolis, IN – Lucas Oil Stadium
  • June 8: Buffalo, NY – Highmark Stadium
  • June 12: Madison, WI – Camp Randall Stadium
  • June 15: Cleveland, OH – Huntington Bank Field
  • June 19: Salt Lake City, UT – Rice-Eccles Stadium

Tickets will be available starting with fan club presales on Monday, September 21, at 10 a.m. local time. Additional presales will occur throughout the week, with general sales beginning on Friday, September 25, at 10 a.m. local time. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold will benefit local charities through Metallica's All Within My Hands foundation.

This announcement follows Metallica's extensive touring history, with the M72 World Tour having played 99 shows in 26 countries since its April 2023 kickoff. The band is also set to perform a residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas from October 1, 2026, through March 13, 2027, before embarking on this newly announced leg of the tour.
