Despite Corum's impressive contributions, the Rams narrowly lost to the Bills with a final score of 37-34. The game was a high-scoring affair, with both teams exchanging leads throughout the contest.
Corum's performance is particularly noteworthy given his evolving role in the Rams' backfield. Entering the 2026 season, the Rams planned to split carries between Corum and fellow running back Kyren Williams. Through the first two games, Corum had 22 carries for 133 yards, averaging 6 yards per carry, while Williams had 23 carries for 126 yards. (athlonsports.com)
However, in recent weeks, Corum's workload had decreased. In Week 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles, he was limited to five carries for 14 yards and one reception for seven yards. (nbcsports.com)
Corum's standout plays against the Bills could signal a resurgence in his role within the Rams' offense. His ability to make significant contributions in both the running and passing games adds a dynamic element to the team's offensive strategy.
As the Rams prepare for their upcoming games, Corum's performance against the Bills may lead to increased opportunities and a more prominent role in the offense. Fans and analysts will be watching closely to see how the Rams utilize their talented running back duo in the weeks ahead.
