Ben Cousins is an indie folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a soulful, elegant style of bluesy-americana music. He has released four solo albums over the last decade, blending thoughtful, introspective lyrics with sunny, warm brushstrokes of guitar, banjo, and fiddle. He has toured extensively, having shared the stage with notable artists such as John Hiatt, Kasey Chambers and Colleen Mallette. Cousins has also been nominated for three Canadian Folk Music Awards and two Western Canadian Music Awards, receiving critical acclaim for his unique blend of traditional and modern folk elements. His latest album, Reach Out, was nominated for a Juno Award in 2021 for best album of contemporary roots music.
