Kansas City Chiefs are an indie-rock band from Brooklyn, New York. Formed in 2015 by lead singer/guitarist, Mikey Francolino, Kansas City Chiefs create a unique blend of upbeat indie-rock with blurred R&B-inspired vocal runs. The band quickly garnered attention with the release of their first single, “Oh Boy,” which was received with high praise from fans and critics alike. Since then, the band has gone on to release two full-length albums, Big Day (2016) and The New Normal (2019). In 2019, Kansas City Chiefs were also nominated for the alternative Rock Album of the Year at the Brooklyn Music Awards. The band continues to tour and produce new music, building a dedicated fan base and making waves in the New York indie-rock music scene.
