Dana Alexander is a Canadian rapper and musician from Calgary, Alberta. She has been creating and performing music since the late 2000s, fusing elements of soul, hip hop, jazz, and funk into her sound. Her unsigned debut album Subject to Change was released in 2010 and featured her singles “No Apologies” and “Gravity”. Since then, she has released several more albums, most recently 2018's Criticize. She has toured North America and Europe, and she also regularly performs at festivals. She has made appearances on television shows like How Did I Get Here? and has toured with a variety of artists including Common, Esthero, and Amos the Transparent. She has also collaborated with various notable Canadian artists such as Saukrates and Shad.
