Jay Shetty is an Indian-born British author, speaker and podcast host whose career focuses on emotional well-being and productivity. His online presence and success have helped him gain recognition from some of the biggest figures in modern society. Born in Birmingham in 1988, Shetty moved to London to pursue a degree in Accounting, Finance and Management. By day, Shetty worked as a Pensions Specialist but, at night, he began vlogging on his YouTube channel. He went on to become a sought-after international speaker and joined Toastmasters International, where he won the Speech Evaluation Contest. In 2017, Shetty released his first book, Think Like a Monk, which quickly became an Amazon Bestseller. Shetty also hosts his own podcast, On Purpose, and has appeared on Good Morning Britain, The Graham Norton Show, Oprah Winfrey and more.
