Afrodescia is a Barcelona-based World Jazz artist, who has been performing for over three decades. The artist has released several albums, with the latest one called 'Afrodescia – Vibrational Fusion'. He performs a unique blend of jazz and world music, using an enigmatic mixing of instruments like harmonica, saxophone, guitar, and percussion. Afrodescia had been a member of several ensembles, including his band Afrodisiac Sound System. He also works as a soundtrack composer for film and adverts. In 2021, he was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Pop Instrumental Album. Despite the ups and downs of a sometimes difficult journey, the true passion that Afrodescia has for his music remains strong, and continues to create innovative and exciting sounds.
