A$AP Ferg, real name Darold Ferguson Jr, is an American hip-hop recording artist from Harlem, New York. He is a member of the hip-hop collective A$AP Mob along with A$AP Rocky. He released his debut single "Work" in 2012, which appeared on his 2013 mixtape Trap Lord. His debut studio album, Trap Lord, was released in August 2013 and received positive reviews from critics. His second studio album, Always Strive and Prosper, was released in April 2016 and reached the top five on the Billboard 200. He has since released numerous mixtapes, commercial collaborations, and singles, including the hit singles "New Level" and "Plain Jane". He has also composed and produced a number of soundtracks for films, including The Lego Batman Movie and Stardust.
