About Bushbaby

Bushbaby is an alternative rock band from Birmingham, England. Formed in 2006, they aimed to create a unique blend of rock and folk music with an electronic tilt. The band is composed of 4 members: frontman Joe Priest, guitarist Sam Armstrong, bassist Mike Tucker, and drummer Rhys Willingham. Since releasing their debut album, 2007's Watching, the band has evolved into a more mature, radio-friendly rock sound which has seen heavy rotation on college radio stations. The band has made several appearances at major festivals, such as the Reading and Leeds Festival and SXSW, and have opened for acts such as Kaiser Chiefs and Garbage. Their latest album, Is It Better To Have Loved And Lost (2011) saw the band continue to build upon their sound, adding more electronic influences and intricate production, creating an experimental edge to their already beloved pop-rock songs.
