Lisa Simone, daughter of legendary singer Nina Simone, is a critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, and stage performer. Since her parents' passing in 2003, Lisa Simone has carried her mothers’ torch, working to keep her legacy alive through her own vocal talent and her work as an actress. In 2007, Simone performed at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo, Norway. Due to her success as an actress and singer, she has worked alongside the likes of A-list actors, musicians, songwriters, directors, and producers. In 2013, Lisa released her first solo album All is Well which earned her nominations in both the Jazz Album of the Year category and New Album of The Year category at the 2013 Italian Jazz Awards. Since then, she has released several more solo jazz albums, including the 2019 release Unexpected Dreams - Songs From The Prelude Music Project, which peaked at number nine on the Italian Jazz Chart.
