Tones and I is an Australia musical wonder, kid! She started her music career like any young aspiring artist in Australia, busking. Once she discovered her music touched and moved people, she decided to focus only on singing and producing while living out of her van.
And then it happened. In 2019, "Dance Monkey" made Australian music history. Her track spent no more than 20 consecutive weeks in the ARIA Australian Singles Charts. More than anyone has ever achieved in over 50 years since the chart's inception. She also ranked #1 in over 30 countries, including 11 weeks in the UK singles charts.
Her music is a mixture of indie pop and dance music with a focus on 4/4 beats, which has proven to be a recipe for success as she made her USA television debut at "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon".
