Uncle Lucius is a band from Austin, Texas that is known for their soulful Southern rock/country sound. The five-person group consists of vocalist and guitarist Kevin Galloway, vocalist and guitarist Hal Vorpahl, bassist Mike Carpenter, drummer Joshua Greco, and multi-instrumentalist Jason Vanderford.

Uncle Lucius released their first album, The Light, in 2010. This release gained them a following with a mix of bluesy, psychedelic, and indie-folk sounds. Their second album, And You Are Me, was released three years later and was nominated for Best Regional Roots Music Album at the 2013 Grammys. Since then they have had multiple releases, including their upcoming album entitled Nothing Ever Seems Right.

Uncle Lucius are well known for their energetic live performances, and have performed at some of the top music festivals including Austin City Limits Festival, Newport Folk Festival, and Bonnaroo. Their music has been blending a unique blend
