Armored Saint is an American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1982. They are led by singer John Bush and guitarist Phil Sandoval, the group's only two constant members. The band achieved critical and commercial success in the 80s with their first two albums, "March of the Saint" and "Delirious Nomad", which included the singles "Can U Deliver," "Strategy," and "Raising Fear". During their career they have released seven studio albums, two live albums, and one EP, with their most recent studio album "Win Hands Down" released in 2015. They have also been nominated for a Grammy in the Best Metal Performance category for their song “Long Before I Die” in 2001. Armored Saint has supported a number of mainstream metal acts such as Metallica, Judas Priest, and Megadeth, and continues to tour and make albums regularly.
