Beach Fossils are an American indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2009. The band consists of lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Dustin Payseur, guitarist Tommy Davidson, and bassist Jack Doyle Smith. They draw influences from a range of indie and dream-pop styles and have become one of the better known practitioners of the genre. Their debut self-titled album was released in June 2010, followed by Clash the Truth in early 2013 and Somersault in 2017. In live performances, they’re known to be energetic and engaging. Beach Fossils have toured extensively and performed at a wide variety of festivals around the world, including SXSW, Pitchfork Music Festival and Primavera Sound Festival. Their latest LP, ‘Somersault’, was released in May 2017 and stands as an exploration of heartbreak and resilience. Though Beach Fossils rely heavily on their familiar guitar-led sound, the album features more of a
