Brooks Williams is an acclaimed blues and American Roots musician. He has been active on the music scene since the early 1990s, touring extensively in Europe, the USA, Scandinavia, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. His repertoire draws on blues, folk, jazz, pop, and various other American Roots styles. He is an accomplished fingerstyle guitarist and songwriter and has released several albums over the years, including his debut album, New Everything, which was released in 1992. In 2010, he was voted Acoustic Blues Artist of the Year at the inaugural US Critics Challenge. Williams is a highly-skilled interpreter of classic blues, and his releases often feature interpretations of songs by Little Walter, Robert Johnson, Mississippi John Hurt, and Son House.
