Chali 2na is an American hip hop artist from Chicago, Illinois. He is best known as a founding member of the band Jurassic 5 and his role as an MC for the underground hip hop collective Ozomatli. 2na is known for his distinctive baritone voice and charisma. With Jurassic 5, 2na has released 4 studio albums, with hits such as "What's Golden" and "Work it Out". He has also been featured on tracks from other prominent artists, including Talib Kweli, Black Eyed Peas, and Linkin Park. In 2009, he released his debut solo album Fish Outta Water, a mix of hip hop, reggae, and drum and bass. He has subsequently released two solo albums, Fishmarket 4 and Against the Current. He is also active in the theater, starring in the musical Black Mahogany and appearing as a special guest in Michael Jackson's Immortal tour.
