About DLR

DLR is the moniker of Connecticut-based hip-hop artist, Bobby Stillwell. Drawing influence from both traditional rap and alternative rock, his music operates in the space between these two styles. He has opened for several acts on tour, including Wu-Tang Clan's Inspectah Deck and Jedi Mind Tricks. His first solo album, Monolithic, was released in 2006. It featured production from some of Connecticut's top producers, including Tone Spliff, Next Level, and Esofame. Since then, he has released two more albums, 2nd Place (2010) and Live from the Maze (2015). Both releases have garnered critical praise for their lyrical prowess and hard-hitting production. His most recent release is a jazz-influenced EP, titled Gateway. DLR is a rising star in the Connecticut hip-hop scene and is quickly gaining recognition as a formidable force in the world of rap music.
