GRITS is an American Christian hip-hop duo made up of two members, Coffee and Brantley, and they are both from Nashville, TN. They've been active in the music industry since 1994, when they released their first album "Mental Releases". Over the years, they have released 9 studio albums and 5 live albums, which have produced a few hits including "Ooh Ahh," "My Life Be Like," and their most popular single, "Hittin' Curves." They are known for their upbeat, soulful rap style and soul-baring lyricism. In addition, GRITS has been nominated for multiple Dove Awards and are often cited as one of the top Christian hip-hop acts of all time. GRITS continues to be one of the Church’s favorite hip-hop acts and they tour regularly to promote their music.
