About Philadelphia Grand Jury

Philadelphia Grand Jury is an Australian indie rock band fronted by Simon Berckelman and Joel Beeson, formed in Sydney, Australia in 2004. Their hits include ‘Going To The Casino’ and ‘Saved By The Jug’. They've released four albums in total - one EP, and three Full Length records. Their debut album, The Good News, was released in 2006 to critical acclaim. Over the years the group have become well known for their energetic performances, and have toured extensively around Australia, as well as countries including the US and the UK. In 2011, the band won an ARIA for ‘Most Popular Australian Album’ for Hope Is On The Horizon. The eight-year wait for a new record was finally broken in July 2013, when Philly Grand Jury released 'Summer of Doom'.
