Rubblebucket is a Brooklyn-based indie pop and dance-rock band formed in 2008. The core duo consists of saxophonist Kalmia Traver and trumpeter/guitarist Alex Toth. The band combines tropical elements with '70s-style horn section, buttery male and female vocal harmonies and blending diverse musical influences, including Balkan brass, classic funk, and afrobeat.

Their debut album, 2011's "Omega La La," was produced by Adam and Ryan pop rock heroes Foster The People. Subsequent albums have found the band exploring a variety of sounds and offering multi-faceted, joyous dance tunes. They have released one EP "Sun Machine,” as well as three full-length albums.

The band has made appearances at festivals like Firefly, Lollapalooza, Hangout Fest, and Austin City Limits. Rubblebucket opened for indie rockers, Walk the Moon in 2016
