Simo is an American blues and rock band which has been variously referred to as a power trio or a three-piece band. The band was formed in 2008 by guitarist, singer, and songwriter JD Simo and is based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Through the years, the band has performed at well-known national and international venues, such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre and the Athens Rocks Festival as well as made appearances in the television series 'Roadie' in 2013.

In 2013, they released their debut album Let Love Show the Way and since then they have released several more including Rise & Shine, Off at 11, and their most recent album, 2020 Shine. Simo has received critical acclaim for their unique combination of classic blues, classic rock, and psychedelia into both their live performances and recordings. They have toured widely in the US, UK, Mexico and Europe, and made appearances at music festivals such as Bonnaroo, the Dunedin Music Festival
