Spoegwolf is an alternative rock band from South Africa. Their music is rooted in African folk and a blend of elements from various genres such as hip-hop, jazz, blues, and electronica. The four members of the band are vocalist and guitarist, Benjamin Jephta, guitarist and vocalist, Jaco Minaar, bassist, MJ Vollenhoven, and drummer, Carl Willemse.

Spoegwolf has released several EPs since their formation in 2008 and their debut full-length album in 2012. The band has toured extensively in South Africa, as well as internationally in Europe, the USA, and elsewhere. Additionally, their singles have seen airplay on radio stations around the world, including in South Africa and the USA. In 2019, Spoegwolf received significant radio play after having been selected for MTV Europe’s Best of 2015 list.
