About Hamlet
Hamlet is an alternative rock band from Latvia featuring Guntis Skrīvers on guitar and vocals, Kaspars Roga on bass and vocals, Aigars Lembergs on guitar and backing vocals, and Ints Teterovskis on drums. The band fused post punk, grunge and alternative rock elements together to create their own unique sound.
Hamlet achieved initial success in the early 2000s with their debut album Die for Once. Since then, the band has released several critically acclaimed and commercially successful albums including Paragraphs, Poorly Written, and Sickness Ahead. Their four studio albums have reached the top of Latvian music charts, and their singles “Freeze the Moment” and “Judas” received gold certification in Latvia and several other countries in Eastern Europe.
