Nimesh Patel is an Indian-American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. He is best known for his appearances in the Netflix comedy series Master of None and Comedy Central's The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail. He has gained recognition through a variety of performances, including NBC's Last Comic Standing in 2010, where he placed in the top 10, as well as hosting his own show on Sirius XM's Raw Dog Comedy channel, Absolutely Me. Patel is the creator of the popular web series Kebab and has written sketches for Comedy Central and Adult Swim. His 2016 one-hour stand-up special UNPRONOUNABLE premiered on Comedy Central. He has opened for some of the biggest names in comedy, including Dave Chappelle, Hannibal Buress, and Ilana Glazer.
