Adam X, also known as Adam X The X-man, is an American techno, house and electro music artist, originally hailing from New York. He began producing music in 2002 and was a staple of the city's early underground techno scene. Adam X has released over 8 full studio albums, as well as several Eps and other EP-style projects, and has had his work prominently featured in many live music events in and around NYC. He has also landed releases on a range of well-known labels, such as Bush Records, Klockworks, CLR and Hybrid. Adam X is often credited with pioneering an early form techno in NYC and is an icon for the city's music scene. He has also been a constant source of inspiration and mentorship for younger producers in the area.
