Aleksi Perälä is a Finnish electronic music artist, composer and producer. He developed his own style, which he describes as "color-coded music". Utilizing sophisticated hardware and software, Perälä creates complex sonic soundscapes characterized by intricate rhythms and layered melodies. He is associated with Sähkö Recordings and has released many critically acclaimed records, including The Colundi Sequence. He has collaborated with artists like Aphex Twin, and his music has been used in video games, television shows, and film soundtracks. In addition to album releases and live performances, he co-organizes the music and art festival in Finland called SynchroniCity. Perälä's music was chosen at the 2019 A/V Festival as being one of the "15 Best Record Labels In The World".
