Joachim Garraud is a French music artist, DJ, and producer. He began his career in the 1980s and quickly gained notoriety in the French underground dance scene, eventually signing with Virgin Records in 1992. His work was strongly influenced by Americanhip-hop, techno, and industrial music. He has released seventeen studio albums as a solo artist, and worked with a wide variety of collaborators. He has gained wide recognition for his remixes of notable tracks by artists like Kylie Minogue, Moby, and Bobby Brown. Garraud has also achieved notoriety in the electronic dance music scene for his a production style which focuses on experimental music and strong beat-driven sounds. His work has been featured in television shows such as CSI, Queer as Folk, and The Real World.
