Jonas Kopp is an Argentinean techno master with a career that stretches back to the mid-2000s, when he was a prominent figure in Buenos Aires’ underground techno scene. His sound revolves around the stripped-back loops of Minimalism, alongside the stark atmospherics of dub and microhouse. His releases on the likes of BCR recordings have brought him to a global audience, and he has since gone on to release music on other renowned labels such as Tresor, Figures, and Music Man. Alongside his prolific production career, Kopp often DJ’s at Techno events around the world, and is also credited with establishing the famed Buenos Aires record label Traut Muzik. Kopp is renowned for his unique deep and heavy sound, and is a celebrated artist in the genre of minimal and techno.
