Ron Wilson is an American contemporary jazz music composer and saxophone player from the San Francisco Bay area. He is best known for his 2010 album, 'Intersections', which received high critical acclaim from jazz critics. Wilson has also preformed as a member of various groups such as the Masters of Groove quartet and the San Francisco Comedy Explosion. He has released four original solo albums since then, blending traditional jazz sounds with a modern approach. He has made appearances at major festivals across the United States such as the San Jose Jazz Festival, Monterey Jazz Festival, and the Detroit Jazz Festival. Wilson has also collaborated with various artists including Rodney Franklin, Rebeca Mauleon, Kevin Davis, and Sam Bevan on his projects. His latest album, 'Suite Chi', comes out later this year.
