Paul McCartney is an Academy Award-winning songwriter, singer, producer, and composer, who has had a music career spanning over six decades. He rose to prominence during his time in The Beatles, the most successful music group of all time, writing and singing some of the band's most iconic records. His solo career has seen equal success, with his 1972 album "Ram" marking his first time producing, writing, and performing all of his own work. Over the course of his lifetime, McCartney had written and composed over 80 top charting songs and sold over 100 million records, both solo and with the Beatles.
