Carl Cox is a living breathing legend for any dance music connoisseur. His contribution to the growth of underground electronic dance music in the past decades is immense!
As a DJ, in 1997 he was awarded the No.1 position in DJ Magazine, overtaking the likes of Sven Vath or Richie Hawtin. In 1991 he released his first single on Paul Oakenfold's label and maintained the techno passage throughout his career. He released his Intec Records imprint in 1999, which to this day, is one of the flagship record labels for house and techno.
His legacy as techno's most prolific and long-lasting techno DJ on the planet is infinite. He holds the record for the most extended residency in Ibiza with over 14 consecutive years at Space Ibiza and is not showing any signs of stopping anytime soon.
