Michael Mayer is an internationally acclaimed DJ and record producer hailing from Germany. His career began in the electronic music scene in 1996 when he released his debut single 'Lovefood'. Over the years he has released five studio albums, including releases on well-known German label Kompakt. His work has featured on many influential compilations, including Fabric 47 and Balance 009, and he has mixed several acclaimed mix albums, including Immer and parts of the Fabric series. His style blends melodic techno and deep house, and his energetic and uplifting productions as well as his high-energy DJ sets have landed him gigs across the world. In recent years he has also branched out into film scoring, to much acclaim, and is currently part of the team behind the successful music streaming service MixCloud.
