Andre Nickatina is a rapper from San Francisco's Fillmore District, who has been active in the hip hop industry since 1993. His first solo album titled The New Jim Jones was released in 1995 and was a major success in the Bay Area. Since then he has released over twenty studio albums including his debut album Raven in the Mist in 2002 which spawned the hit single "Cocaine Raps". His most recent album was Bacon a Go Go released in 2018. In addition to his solo work, he has released numerous collaborations with other artists including Mac Dre, JT the Bigga Figga, Keak da Sneak, and Too $hort. He has become known for his storytelling and his use of samples in his production. He is respected for his hustle and his longevity in the Bay Area rap scene.
