Venerated DJ and producer Jamie XX is one of the most impressive electronic acts who's also partaking in the electronica-pop band The xx.
With outstanding remixing skills, Jamie XX, he reworked the likes of Radiohead, Four Tet, or Florence and the Machine. His reworks weren't always club ready, but he gave tracks that electronic-melancholy that's was missing.
Jamie XX's production path goes way back. In 2011 he worked on Drake's "Take Care" album and also produced for Rihanna and Alecia Keys. His passion, though, is in the atmospheric sound resonances with glitches of electronica. As proof, his 2015 "In Colour" album gained a Grammy Award nomination and is considered his best work so far. His music sound complete form start to finish, without any stepback. With a fresh take on electronica and everything in between, Jamie proves his in control of all that sounds weird and modern.
