Evidence is an independent hip-hop recording artist who first rose to prominence in the mid-90s as a rapper in the Los Angeles-based rap group Dilated Peoples. Evidence has developed a unique style over the years, mixing melodic abstract beats with a sharp underground sound. He released his solo debut album The Weatherman LP in 2007 under Rhymesayers Entertainment to critical acclaim. Since then, Evidence has released a number of solo albums and mixtapes, as well as two albums with Dilated Peoples. Evidence has collaborated with renowned artists such as Rakim, Mos Def, Phonte, MF DOOM, and Dilated Peoples. As an independent artist, Evidence continues to make music and inspire upcoming producers. His latest solo album, Weather or Not, was released in 2018. Evidence's music has been featured in various TV shows and films, and he continues to represent and release music under the Rhymesayers Entertainment label.
